The team has a particularly successful track record in mergers, acquisitions and disposals and new issues. In 2006, it assisted Reg Vardy plc in the £505m sale to Pendragon plc and was broker to EMH plc during the £280m disposal to Inchcape. In 2007 it was adviser on the Vertu Motors plc flotation which was adjudged ‘Deal of the Year 2007’ in the North East Insider Awards. The team is also proud to have been joint broker to FTSE 250 companies, Greggs plc and Cranswick plc for a number of years.
