Oil and gas industry focus on the future of the North Sea

The Brewin Dolphin Natural Resources team hosted a debate on the future of the UK North Sea Oil & Gas and Oil Services Dinner at their annual event in Aberdeen on 10th June. The Rt. Hon. Tim Eggar, the former energy minister spoke at the dinner with business leaders and fund managers from the natural resources sector.

Earlier this year Mr Eggar conducted a review of the tax treatment of the UK North Sea Oil & Gas Industry on behalf of George Osbourne.

Alex Dewar, Director in Corporate Finance said, "Mr Eggar opened up a healthy debate on some of the measures that the new coalition government needs to foster for future development in the North Sea.
